[1644] We went thence to visit one Mon­sieur Per­ishot, one of the grea­test vir­tuo­sos in France, for his col­lec­tion of pic­tures, agates, medals, and flo­wers, espe­cial­ly tulips and ane­mones. The chie­fest of is pain­tings was a Sebas­tian, of Titian.
